CANADIAN CUSTOMERS!
PLEASE CONTACT ME BY ENCODER@CMLASERSERVICE.COM.
DO NOT ORDER FROM THE WEBSITE!
Can you ship to another address?
We can only ship to the address registered on your PayPal account. If you order and then realize your PayPal address is incorrect, send me a note. I will refund your purchase. Then you can update your PayPal address and re-order. It is much safer that way.
How is my encoder shipped?
Brass Encoders are attached to a custom made acrylic frame, wrapped in bubblewrap, and inserted in a small zip bag to ensure that it is not damaged in shipping. It is shipped in an A5 sized brown, hand addressed, envelope that weighs approximately 20 grams gross. Please let me know if you need special handling for customs in your country.
We ship to ALL countries of the world.
How long will it take to receive my encoder?
Orders usually ship within 48hrs of receipt of payment from Paypal. Delays occur when orders are placed on weekends, long holidays, or when I am (very rarely) out of stock. If your shipment is delayed longer than 48hrs, I will notify you by email.
After shipment, I send out confirmation emails indicating shipping registration numbers and installation troubleshooting instructions. Please make sure encoder@cmlaserservice.com is in your "white list" of email addresses to make sure you receive my emails.
Standard shipping times average three weeks for all regions except
South America and South Africa, which often take two months.
Any delays in transit usually occur when the encoder arrives in the destination country. Regretfully, the "tracking" of registered packages by Postal system sucks. It goes dark when it leaves Thailand and may or may not actually show up on the destination country's postal website. If you have not received your encoder by three weeks, please contact me back.
Registered Post requires a signature for delivery. If you check the Thai Postal website or the website of your country and see that it has been "attempted delivery" or "recipient not at home" or anything like that, the best and fastest way to find out where it is would be to contact your local postal carrier or post office. As much as I would like to help, I am powerless to do so.
